Censorship is probably the greatest danger to freedom.  We are more than fortunate, that we, in the US, live under a Constitution that PROTECTS and affirms the pre-existing Right to Freedom of Speech.  Fortunately, until now, that Right has been protected by our government.

But, remember, the Right is ONLY protected from infringement FROM THE GOVERNMENT.  Constitutional protection of Feee Speech DOES NOT apply to businesses or private organizations – like facebook and the RPOF.  They can censor at will, usually without any consequence.

Currently, the Republican Party of Florida is attempting to restrict opposition voices within its ranks, using rules, manipulations and intimdation.  They have even gone as far as removing Precinct Committeemen and Precinct Committeewomen, the lowest level of official membership in the Party, at the county level.  And WORSE, even TERMINATING a properly constituted County level Republican Party.  We CANNOT allow this to continue.  We MUST have an EFFECTIVE Party which can EFFECTIVELY oppose the radical leftism which has infected the Democrat Party.

It is essential for conservative, patriotic Americans to PARTICIPATE in the political process.  Everyone needs to understand the FACTS about what is happening, what candidates and elected officials have promised versus what they have done.  The same applies to elected officers in the Republican Party.  Republican voters MUST pay attention and evaluate what is said and done.  That means doing more than voting for an “R” in November.  Participation in a county level Republican Party or Club is the easiest way to start.

Censorship and Propaganda work togeether.  One is positive in that it delivers a message.  The other is negative, in that it attempts to prevent the dissemination of an opposing message.  The Republican Party of Florida uses both.  They broadcast a message that they are doing good things (which is true, in part).  But, they are also engaged in restricting the reach and credibility of opposing opinions.  However, with more oversight by Republican voters, they will be unwilling to endure the public criticism.

Censoring of opposing voices is happening in Tallahassee.  It is happening around Florida.  It is happening in Lake County.  Republican voters need to watch closely and critically.

Censorship begins small – and metastasizes.  We CANNOT allow our country to become like Europe.
