After Taylor Yarkosky’s election to the position of Chair of the Lake County Republican Party in December 2024, facilitated by a coup related to the theft of the Property Appraiser’s office, he promised to “follow the rules.”  Once again, his assertion is proven FALSE, due to incompetence or inattention, NEITHER of which should be tolerated by Republican voters in Lake County.

As of today, May 30, 2025, the Lake County Republican Party website, www.LakeCountyRepublicans.org, STILL has links to expired Party organizational documents that every member should be familiar with.  There are three relevant documents: The RPOF Constitution, the RPOF Rules of Procedure, and the County Model Constitution.  These three documents are the controlling ordinances of both the State level Republican Party in Florida and the Republican Parties of each county in Florida.  If you are reading and referring to the expired documents, you are really not reading or following the Rules.

These documents were revised in May 2024, and are referenced at https://lakecountyrepublicans.org/bylaws/ but are not the most recent versions.

The RPOF revised the Rules and the County Model Constitution on May 17, 2025.  The publications were distributed on May 29, 2025.

But, Chairman Yarkosky and his inattentive assistants seem to be unaware that the RPOF revised the County Model Constitution and the Rules on January 11, 2025.

On THIS website, www.TomVail.republican, the documents are REGULARLY updated soon after dissemination.  The CURRENT versions were uploaded today.

Neither Taylor Yarkosky, nor his Board of Directors is competent to run the Lake County Republican Party.  But, in reality, that is EXACTLY what he and the Tallahassee Cabal that he represents want and expect.

In contrast to the terms of the County Model Constitution, Article II(c), which states “an informed electorate” as an objective, the actions of the RPOF and LCREC seem to be inconsistent with this stated intent.

I wonder if ANY of the current officers of the Lake County Republican Party have EVER read any of these foundational documents.  How could they POSSIBLY follow Rules that they do not know and understand?
